What we are currently experiencing is that the HP5000 no longer finishes any plotting where the input file comprises of a significant amount of data. We still can plot vector drawings where most of the space on paper stays white. When we want to plot such a map sheet with a photographic underlay, though, we are no longer successful.We are printing on a 36" roll using the entire width. When printing from a Windows XP machine, the plotter completes about 4" . Then it hangs. Pushing any button on its front panel will not accomplish anything. At this point it...

Hi Sir, I have a problem of my HP desigejet 5500 42', system self-test failure, and shows that system error: Air pressure system. How can I fix the problem and need change any parts? I have a HP Designjet 5000 and last year I purchased a new carriage belt. I installed it and everything worked great.  I did not use the printer for a couple of months and now I can not get it to received a signal through the HP Directjet Card on the back of the printer.  I installed an new card but still do not get a light on the back to verify internet connection.  Is there something I can do to resolve this problem?
