New Print Heads failing after a few prints

Last week the light cyan ink cartridge was getting low and the printer stopped printing with an error. I didn’t notice the print head symbol was flashing, I just assumed it was too low on ink. I replaced the ink cartridge, started it up and then noticed the flashing print head symbol. I cleaned the contacts but that did not work. I ordered a new print head and replaced it two days ago and the printer worked for a few prints. Today the same light cyan printhead flashing symbol is back. Help? Minimum ink level required for priming

Considering replacing one of these and wondered how much ink should be left in a cartridge before starting the priming process? Good question. If the ink level in any of the cartridges is below 20% or you have a “CARTRIDGE LOW” indication, the plotter will refuse to prime until it sees a higher ink level. The plotter wants to be sure to have a successful priming routine.

Canvas is not going to work for outdoor use. The newer...

The ink cartridges were replaced with new OEM cartridges and the problem persisted. We sent a refurb. Ink tube system that did not help followed by a new OEM ink system. You also installed a used known good ink cartridge in the failing slot with no change in symptoms. The problem is that the ink cartridge is not communicating with the electronics module for some reason. You have done all the...
