This Western Digital 160GB Hard Disk Drive is the direct replacement for the Original 40GB HDD.  The Disk Drive has the proper format and  software pre-loaded for easy installation.  The part works with all versions of the Designjet 4500 plotter and provides twice the storage/work space as the original.

Fiasco

Paid for overnight shipping. Shipped two days after payment. Seller wrote address wrong. Didn't respond to emails ever for help. Tried to deal with dhl for a week before initiating a PayPal claim and buying part elsewhere. Total waste of time.

Unfortunately, we do not offer overnight shipping for international customers. DHL Express is fast, but they can't work miracles. Per our homepage 'Parts ordered before 2:30pm Pacific time ship the same day.' Your January 12 order was submitted well after the cutoff time.

Your claim 'seller wrote address wrong' appears to be false. According to DHL regarding the customs delay: 'Awaiting authorization of/or advance duty payment from customer.' and 'Clearance processing will proceed as soon as authorization or pre-payment is received. Importer is advised to contact DHL Customer Service if further details are required.'
