Encoder Strip for HP Designjet Z2100 Z3100 Z3200 & Z5200 44" Plotters

The replacement procedure for this part is found in section 6-84 of the service manual --available here.

This is the plastic and metal strip that spans the entire printer and goes through the carriage. The strip provides a reference for carriage motion that is fed back to the electronics. A dirty or damages strip can cause Y-axis errors.

Goods as described, would deal again with LPS

I ordered a new carriage belt for my 44" Z3200, encoder strip and syringe kit to remove ink. All goods arrived in good time to New Zealand. A few issues getting printer to run after it crashed from the breaking of the old belt, but nothing to do with the new replacements. I used LPS about 12 years getting a belt then for my Z3100 - so would recommend them for your HP printer needs

Great service!

I've ordered a few different parts from LPS for my HP designjet and items have always arrived very quickly and in great condition.
