The model number is located on the label on the back of the plotter.  The model number ends with either "A" or "B." 
 

Guaranteed to fix 08:11 & 79:04 errors which are caused by a defective HDD.

This is a brand new 500GB hard disk drive with Designjet Z3200 firmware loaded and ready for installation.  It mounts on the formatter board which is the plug-in board on the HP Designjet Z3200 that has the Ethernet connector. 


The HDD can be replaced in less than 5 minutes with a Philips screwdriver.  It is mounted on the formatter board that lifts out of the plotter with 2 thumb screws.  Toll free technical assistance is available - 760 749 1580.

System error codes related to the HDD:

  • Error 06:YZ
  • Error 08:11

This is a new part, never installed on a plotter - blank ID & password, ready to install. 

The "B" version models are:

Q6718B  Designjet Z3200 24-in Photo Printer 
Q6719B  Designjet Z3200 44-in Photo Printer 
Q6720B  Designjet Z3200ps 24-in Photo Printer 
Q6721B  Designjet Z3200ps 44-in Photo Printer
Used Hard Disk Drives will not work in this printer.  When the formatter is installed, the software on the HDD takes on the ID and password from the plotter and cannot be transferred to another Designjet Z3200.
